QFB Energy offers a Demand Response program to help reduce or shift electricity demand during peak load periods. Reducing electric consumption when constraints are high can result in payments that participate in the program. Payments are a way of earning money for a facility and grid operators provide the opportunities to do this.
Independent System Operators (ISOs) are responsible for ensuring the reliability of the electric grid. Balancing the supply and the demand for ISO’s can be challenge, especially during seasonal increases. These operators offer incentives to help shift or reduce electric usage during peak periods.
